Design Studio is an active member of the Architects Association of Tanzania - (AAT), which is affiliated to EAIA (East African Institute of Architects), AUA (African Union of Architects), CAA (Commonwealth Institute of Architects) and UIA (International Union of Architects). Architect Subira Mchumo has served as the President of Architects Association of Tanzania, President of the East Africa Institute of Architects, Board Member of the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Tanzania (AQRB) and Board Member of the National Housing Corporation (NHC).
